A few years ago, my friend and I went to Porto in May, and the weather there was still quite cool, and last year my husband and I went to Madeira. In Madeira in May it is not yet the season for going to the beach, but it was much warmer than on the previous trip to Porto. My husband tried to swim in the sea, but it was a little cool, but for exploring the beautiful island nature, the period of the year was suitable, it was warm during the day, sunny all days and without precipitation.

May is a good month for excursion trips around Side; the weather is not hot, 23°C. We did not observe prolonged rains, but only minor precipitation. There were also beach days at 28°C, and we ran off to sunbathe and breathe in the healing sea air. You shouldn’t really count on swimming in the Mediterranean Sea, the water is 20°C. And you can look at the coastal zone endlessly, it’s simply mesmerizing.

We decided to go to Turkey for the New Year holidays and chose the city of Alanya. The weather was quite rainy and cool. But despite this there were quite a lot of tourists. The water was also quite cold. The sky was mostly cloudy or cloudy. There was a light drizzle a couple of times. The weather was mostly calm and the humidity was high. But despite this, we were able to visit museums, exhibition centers and spas. I really enjoyed exploring the caves and ancient fortresses.

In May, Fethiye, Türkiye, is full of natural magic. Pleasant coolness in the morning gives way to warmth during the day, and in the evening you can enjoy a light breeze from the sea. This month is ideal for a beach holiday and exploring the sights of the city. The clean and well-kept beaches of Fethiye will delight those who like to sunbathe in the sun and swim in the warm waters of the Aegean Sea. Equally attractive are the city's historical sites, including an ancient theater and a fortress on the promontory, which offers stunning views of the surrounding area. Holidays in May provide a unique opportunity to combine beach fun with cultural walks through the streets of the old city. However, it is worth considering that May is still early spring and nights can be chilly. It would be a good idea to have a light jacket or sweater with you for evening walks. Don't forget about sunscreen - the sun's rays are quite active even in May. Visiting Fethiye in May is just what you need for those who value comfortable weather, tranquility and the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the Turkish resort without the intense heat of the summer season. At this time of year, the city is not so crowded with tourists, which allows you to more calmly and measuredly enjoy the beauty and atmosphere of this amazing place.

Despite the summer, the weather was not particularly inspiring for walks. Upon arrival we were caught in the rain and the next day too. There was not enough solar heat, the degrees felt at +24-26°C and this was during the day, at night it was quite cold +19-21°C. The following days were warmer with a maximum of +29°C. I love art, so I’ve visited many museums and galleries. Lascari Palace is amazing and luxurious. The sea water is not particularly pleasant and fluctuates between +19-22°C.

Dubai is the heart of the United Arab Emirates; if you go, then definitely go there. We got out in May, the weather was already truly summer. During the day it is very hot +35-38°C, the only thing that saves you is a wide-brimmed hat and very dark glasses. The skyscrapers are breathtaking, we have visited so many places, everything is done with taste and luxury. The Dubai Mall is a chic shopping center with plenty of places for shopaholics to roam. Sea water reaches +28°C, swimming is a pleasure. Only at sunset the long-awaited coolness of +25-28°C arrives.

Everything would be perfect if it weren't for the rain. During the first week of vacation it rained three times. “Lil,” of course, is a strong word, but I had to sit in the room for half a day, and this was a waste of time. Otherwise everything is great. The heat, the sea is like fresh milk, and even at night you can walk around in shorts and a T-shirt. +33 during the day, +25 at night. The temperature is just right. I went on excursions and around the city. I didn't mind the heat and went to the beach.

The whole family went on vacation to Tanzania on the island of Zanzibar, because we wanted to surprise both our friends and ourselves. On the one hand, we were really surprised by the incredible nature of the island, we especially liked the beaches with almost white sand and unrealistically blue sea water. On the other hand, for two weeks of rest there was rain, quite heavy rain, real tropical rain. True, the water temperature was suitable for swimming, and the air temperature still remained warm enough that it was possible to swim even in such weather.

My daughter and I flew to Sharm el-Sheikh in April, the weather was super 27-28 degrees, just what we needed for a vacation. We were completely delighted with this place. The beaches here are simply stunning - soft sand, clear water. We happily spent time on the beach, enjoying the sun and sea, the water is amazing! In addition to the beach holiday, we also visited some of the attractions of Sharm el-Sheikh - a water park, a dolphinarium, and an embankment. Everything was interesting and exciting. We will definitely come back here again and are already planning our next trip. I recommend it to everyone who wants to take a break from the everyday hustle and bustle and enjoy the beauty of the sea and beaches of Sharm el-Sheikh.

At least several times a year we try to travel with our boyfriend. We were in the city of Zadar in May last year. One day there was heavy rain and quite gusty winds from the Adriatic coast. But during the entire rest period it was quite warm. The sea, of course, is still a little cold for swimming and for a seaside holiday it is better to go to Croatia in the middle or at the end of summer. But May is good for visiting excursions and sightseeing.
