Cairo weather in February

Cairo is a city that enjoys excellent hot, sunny and dry weather all year round. The average daily temperature this month is 15°C (59°F). Temperatures can reach 20°C (68°F) or drop to 10°C (50°F). There is very little rainy weather in Cairo and any wet periods clear up quickly. Among the many famous and historical places, I recommend visiting the Khan el-Khalili market. Everything is collected here: from local spices to jewelry. The market is visited by both tourists and locals. The Cairo Tower is an important and more modern landmark of Cairo. Climb to the top and admire the city's sights before visiting the restaurant located there.

If I decided to travel to Cairo again, I would probably choose a time period when the city comes alive with a special light and atmosphere. Perhaps this would be the month of Ramadan, when the streets are filled with the scent of spices and the evening street markets become a magnet for locals and tourists. Although cool evenings also have their charm, I would like to immerse myself in the holiday atmosphere and get to know local traditions better. During Ramadan, Cairo also hosts many cultural events, as well as festivals and concerts that allow you to plunge into the world of local music, dance and art. In addition, during this period, many restaurants and cafes offer special menus and traditional dishes, allowing you to try a variety of delicacies.
