The whole family went on vacation to Tanzania on the island of Zanzibar, because we wanted to surprise both our friends and ourselves. On the one hand, we were really surprised by the incredible nature of the island, we especially liked the beaches with almost white sand and unrealistically blue sea water. On the other hand, for two weeks of rest there was rain, quite heavy rain, real tropical rain. True, the water temperature was suitable for swimming, and the air temperature still remained warm enough that it was possible to swim even in such weather.
Last year in April I vacationed in Tanzania. I really wanted to go to the sea and that’s why I chose this place. It's warm here in April, the air temperature was around 30 degrees. I spent a lot of time on the beach, although it was not always sunny, the water in the sea was warm. At night it was a little cooler and for evening walks it was necessary to change clothes. The nature here is very beautiful and unusual, there is a lot to admire.
I was on holiday in Zanzibar in February 2023. I chose this month because I wanted to avoid the rainy season and enjoy the sunny and warm weather. And, it should be noted, I was not mistaken in my choice, since the weather was simply wonderful. At this time, it was very hot and dry. The average daytime temperature was 32 degrees, at night it dropped to 26. The water temperature in the sea reached 28 degrees, just ideal for swimming. The cloud cover was minimal and the wind was pleasantly refreshing. The rains were infrequent and did not last long. I really liked the weather as it was perfect for both swimming and walking. I visited the stone town of Stone Town, Turtle Island, Jozani Forest, Blue Safari and much more. I was delighted by the beauty of nature, and I was also pleased by the friendliness of the locals. I think February is great for a trip to Zanzibar, as it combines warm and dry weather, a low influx of tourists, and therefore much lower prices. I would love to go there again in February or January, which is also good for a holiday. I don't recommend going to Zanzibar in April or May as it rains heavily during this time. In a word, the impressions were only positive. Zanzibar is a great place that is worth visiting at least once in your life.
At the beginning of March, we flew to Zanzibar to relax. It was hot, the temperature was 33°C, the water was very warm 29°C, you entered right away without fear, swimming was very comfortable. Turquoise ocean, white sand, the views are simply indescribable. You can't walk around the streets for a long time, it's too hot. There were several cloudy days with rain, and then the temperature dropped to 28°C. A beautiful island, warm ocean, unusual local color, I was pleasantly impressed.
Hi all. In May 2023, my wife and I decided to go to an exotic country on vacation - Tanzania, the resort of Zanzibar. We most likely made a mistake with the month, because... In May they have very heavy rains, some downpours. But we still found time to sunbathe and swim. On the day the temperature outside was approx. 30°C, the water is also very warm - approx. 28-29°C. We also went on an excursion along the coasts and islands, it is very beautiful there. Overall, we liked the trip, but it is better not to go there in April and May, when it is the rainy season.
