Last year we vacationed with a large group of colleagues in Batumi. I thought it would be hotter. The weather during the day was warm, sunny, without precipitation, and calm, but the temperature was more like the end of spring in a temperate climate. And the nights were generally quite cold. One time we went for a walk around the city at night, and I really regretted that I didn’t take a windbreaker with me. The water in the sea was also not very warm, although some of our group did not want to swim, while others still went to the beach. In general, the weather is not bad for excursions, but a little cold for a beach holiday.

In May, the weather in Batumi is not bad, it corresponds to the season, the air temperature is within +17-20°C during the daytime. At night it is noticeably fresh on the thermometer +12-16°C. I really liked Georgia, the territory is well-groomed everywhere, there is a lot of entertainment and modern attractions, like the world-famous figure of Ali and Nino. The sea is not very warm yet, around +17, so beachgoers should choose summer for their trip.

We visited Batumi to relax and explore local attractions. The weather in the first half of June was 21 - 23 degrees, I like warmer summers. Sometimes it was cloudy and raining. There weren't many people on the beach, we sunbathed, but didn't swim in the sea, the water was cold 21 degrees. There are mountains nearby and the air was clean; on excursion walks you could breathe very easily. If you are interested in a purely beach holiday, it is better to choose other destinations this month.

I love Georgia! I have been to Batumi many times. I love this city because it’s summer here for six months. In May, however, summer is just beginning here, but you can already sunbathe and swim. Well, definitely not everyone swims here at this time, since the water is 17 degrees, but I’m already opening the swimming season. On the shore, in the sun 21-22, warm. This city has only one drawback - the humidity is too high, which makes the heat difficult to bear. Therefore, I wouldn’t recommend going in July-August for those who can’t stand the heat well, but May-June and September-October are the best.

I vacationed in Stepantsminda in September 2023. I chose this time because I wanted to visit the Gergeti mountain temple, and the weather, as I heard, in September is quite comfortable, not too hot and not too cold. The weather was really pleasant. It was cool in the morning, about 10-15 degrees, but the sun was shining brightly. During the day the temperature rose to 20-25 degrees, just what we needed for walking. In the evening it became colder, about 5-10 degrees, and it was necessary to dress warmly. But at night you could admire the stars and see the silhouette of Mount Kazbek. The weather was more than suitable for me. It was clear and cloudless, without rain or wind. I could enjoy all the views I wanted without worrying about being hit by any bad weather. I felt neither heat, nor cold, nor stuffiness. I think this weather is suitable for any type of recreation: you can walk, ride a bike, climb rocks, visit historical and cultural attractions. I have not vacationed in Stepantsminda at other times, but I have heard that it is very cold and snowy there in winter, and hot and humid in summer. Therefore, I think September is one of the best months to travel to this city. My overall impression is very positive. I got a lot of pleasure from my holiday in Stepantsminda. I saw the beauty of Georgian nature and got acquainted with the local culture. I would love to go there again, and again choose September.
