Anapa weather in March

We arrived in Anapa at the end of March to the sanatorium. We had 2 rainy days. The rest of the time the weather pleased us. On average it was 14 degrees Celsius, one day - 18 degrees. We wore windbreakers and tracksuits. The sea is beautiful, there was no storm, but you can’t swim at all, the water temperature did not rise above 10 degrees. The nights are still cool, 6 degrees. But the smells and feeling of spring are everywhere in Anapa in March. Dogwood, snowdrops, primrose and many other unfamiliar but beautiful plants we encountered during the field trip. Many cafes and restaurants are closed, but Anapa is a city, so there were no problems with places to relax. Anapa was a good vacation for us with friendly people and low prices.

To be honest, I didn’t really like vacationing in Anapa in March. I thought that it would be real spring here at this time, but everything turned out to be not so rosy. The average temperature during the day remained at 5-8 degrees plus. At night it was stable around zero. There were very few sunny days, mostly partly cloudy. There were also quite often heavy and prolonged downpours during the day.

I thought that if I went to Anapa in March, I would simply find myself in the midst of real spring. But no matter how it is! For two weeks that I was here the weather was simply disgusting, it’s hard to say otherwise. There was no stability. The average daytime temperature ranged from minus one to plus ten degrees. Added to this was a constantly raging sea and a fairly strong wind. It also rained frequently.
