I returned from my shift in Yakutsk and I hasten to share my impressions. If you are not at all frost-resistant, sickly and frail, this city is not for you in winter. And the winter here is fierce. I was leaving, the other day it was -31 at night. During the day it is 3-5 degrees warmer. There were few sunny days throughout the month. More often than not, the sun would sometimes peek out and quickly hide among the clouds. One joy is that there is almost no wind. But in such frost this doesn’t help...

If you want to understand what real winter is like, I recommend visiting Yakutsk in February. I ended up here on work matters and the business trip lasted almost two weeks. The average temperature during the day remained at thirty degrees with a minus sign. At night the temperature dropped to minus forty degrees. It was cloudy almost all the time, sunny days were a rarity. There were strong snowstorms several times.

We decided to go on vacation to Moscow for a few days. The trip took place in the second half of February. The weather was frosty, a couple of days were sunny. But we were not upset by cloudy days and snowfalls. We really enjoyed walking on Red Square and VDNKh, as we love snowy and frosty winters. The air temperature was between -5 and -10 degrees. We also attended excursions and exhibitions. Overall I liked everything. We did not have time to visit all the sights of the capital. Therefore, we are planning to come in the spring, in May, to enjoy the sunny, warm days when it is not yet very hot.

For the New Year holidays, I decided to visit Moscow, I myself am from Kazakhstan. The weather in Moscow was frosty, it reached minus 25 degrees, but this did not become an obstacle for me. I was delighted by the climb to the 89th floor of Moscow City. Winter only strengthened my impression of a beautiful city, from such a height! It started snowing and everything looked like in a fairy tale. Snowflakes were circling in the multi-colored lights of the city. Then I went to Red Square, it got warmer outside, the fine snow gave way to large flakes. A huge plus of this city, its beauty. I didn’t have time to visit all the sights, because the weekend was short, but I will definitely return there next New Year. The frosty weather did not stop me from having a great time in the capital of Russia

This was not my first time in Moscow, but this trip was dedicated exclusively to getting to know religious sights. I planned my five-day tour for April based on weather conditions, i.e. so that it is not very cold, but not hot either. I can say that the daytime air temperature around +15 completely suited me, besides, the sun was shining and there was no rain. I managed to see the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, St. Basil's Cathedral, the Assumption, Archangel and Annunciation Cathedrals, the bell tower of Ivan the Great and some other places. The atmosphere in the temples was simply incredible, I received such a strong charge of emotions that I simply cannot find words to describe. Novgorod the Great is next!
