Sochi weather in April

Last year, I chose to vacation with my child in the Aqualoo sanatorium and resort complex in Sochi. We went for the first time in the spring, and our first time to Russia. I’ll tell you right away that the weather is very changeable, but we were lucky to catch some sunny days. The temperature during the day was up to +15, at night it was cooler than +7. The wind was moderate. The water temperature was no more than 12 degrees, and there were people who wanted to sunbathe. When you go to breakfast it’s cool that you can wear a jacket, and at lunch, if it’s not raining, then you can go in a tracksuit and breathe warm air. I was in Sochi last year in April. And I wasn't very lucky with the weather. The month was cloudy and rainy in places. I don’t even remember the days when there are no clouds in the sky and the sun is shining brightly. The temperature, however, was warm. +13-15 degrees on average. I was there in the first half of April. Taking into account the fact that this year it is warmer everywhere in Russia and spring should be abnormally early, I think that it will be warmer in Sochi too. Forecasters are already promising clear weather without precipitation +14-20 degrees.

When it is not possible to fly abroad on vacation, there is always the opportunity to visit places in your native country of Russia, which are incredibly beautiful at any time of the year. I was in Sochi in April 2023 and this year I’m going there again on vacation. The average temperature from night to morning ranges from +12°C to +15°C, so at night you can safely go out for a walk and not freeze. There are practically no rainy or snowy days. Personally, during my three weeks of vacation, I encountered only one day with heavy rain. There are also a lot of sunny days, on average half a month, but this in no way spoils the impression of nature and beautiful places. I recommend everyone to visit Sochi!
