Sochi weather in January

I don’t like heat, so I always take vacations in winter. This time I was on vacation in Sochi in January. The average temperature this month is 10 degrees. But the weather is unpredictable. Now the cold wind, now the sun, now the sea breeze. There was also snowfall, but the snow melted right before our eyes. The nights are quite comfortable, 3-5 degrees, I never missed evening walks. The sea, of course, has not gone away, no one forbids breathing salty air, and swimming, of course, is forbidden. I haven’t seen any fans of hardening. Nature surprised me in January. Lots of greenery, I saw snowdrops. Prices, entertainment - much cheaper in January. Plane tickets were expensive.

Of course, when I decided to take a trip to my beloved Sochi in January, I didn’t plan any sea. Only walks. The average daytime temperature was six to seven degrees plus. It was comfortable to take a promenade in a demi-season jacket. At night it became stable around zero or a slight plus. There were quite a lot of cloudy days, sometimes it rained heavily. The sun only came out a few times during my two weeks in the city.
