Sochi weather in March

Last year in March the weather in Sochi was very cool. I escaped from the St. Petersburg snow into real spring. Even clouds and rain did not spoil the rest. There were only 2 rainy days out of the week. In the sun, the air sometimes warmed up to +18-20 degrees, and I stripped down to my T-shirt. The rest of the time, a thin sweater or a light jacket over a T-shirt was enough. In the evenings, however, we had to warm ourselves when it was only +8-10. But anyway, it only gets SO warm here towards the end of May!

Good afternoon My husband and I vacationed in Sochi in 2023. We went in March, it was a vacation, and we don’t regret it. After winter, it’s very nice to warm up in such a pleasant, atmospheric city. In the morning you wake up in the warm rays of the sun, birds are singing, everything is blooming, turning green, acquiring its colors, although there is still snow in the mountains. The day flies by very quickly, because... there is a lot of entertainment, and in the evening you can sit quietly on the beach, it’s already getting cooler. Rains are of course not uncommon, but they are warm, like spring. Overall we were very pleased with the weather. If we have the opportunity to go again, we will definitely go in the spring, it won’t be as stuffy as in the summer, but it won’t be cold either.

I went to Sochi on a business trip to an exhibition for 5 days last March. I personally experienced cloudy days. Sometimes the sun peeked through the clouds, sometimes it started to rain. In general, the weather was capricious and changeable. But, in general, it’s warm, +10-12 stable during the day and the nights are already warm, I slept with the window open. The city looked a little. In some ways, I even liked walking outside the heat that is always present here in the summer.
