Last year we booked a tour from Minsk to Kabardinka for the month of June. Our tour lasted 14 days. Our vacation took place in the first half of June. We rested in a guest house. The weather was good for us. We walked all night long along the embankment, it was warm. The average night temperature was somewhere around 18 degrees. During the day the air warmed up to 27 degrees. We went to the beach every day. There was no precipitation, and there was no strong wind either. Just heavenly weather and an equally wonderful place. This year, if everything works out, we plan to visit the resort again in June.
I heard that Kaliningrad is famous for its unstable weather and July was no exception. Sometimes the heat reaches 30 degrees, sometimes it drops to 24. Windy days are not uncommon, and we also found it raining. The Baltic Sea is cold 21, but you can take a quick swim even if there is no cold current. For several days the water was as cold as from a tap. It is calm and atmospheric here, but the weather is unpredictable and it was not possible to completely relax.
We decided to go to Anapa for reconnaissance in September and see how the situation was there. Everything is the same as in the summer, man on man and stepping on toes. It was warm 27C, but the sun was no longer as active as in summer. The evenings are cool, so trousers, a jacket and closed shoes are required. The sea has not yet cooled down, 23C, this is the normal temperature for it and you can swim, but not for long. Still, I give preference to European resorts.
Last summer my family and I went to Anapa, at the height of the season. The heat is unbearable, I can’t really breathe during the day, I can’t stand such temperatures, so I spent almost all the time in the room, but my wife, on the contrary, liked the weather. There was no hope for cold weather; the temperature remained stable. I have no idea what this weather is suitable for. My wife and children walked and paid attention to all the local beaches. If it were up to me, we would come in winter, somewhere in mid-January. The sun is not shining, and there will be fewer tourists.
Going to Sochi we didn’t have any big illusions; after all, it’s September and you can expect any surprises from nature. But in vain, we were lucky with the weather and 26 degrees Celsius made us very happy. I always wanted to swim in the sea, because it was 25 degrees, very warm and gentle. Only sometimes waves rolled in, but without storms or storms. There is a lot of greenery and flowers in all the surrounding areas, it was simply pleasing to the eye. While on vacation, we completely forgot that autumn was just around the corner.
Last year in March the weather in Sochi was very cool. I escaped from the St. Petersburg snow into real spring. Even clouds and rain did not spoil the rest. There were only 2 rainy days out of the week. In the sun, the air sometimes warmed up to +18-20 degrees, and I stripped down to my T-shirt. The rest of the time, a thin sweater or a light jacket over a T-shirt was enough. In the evenings, however, we had to warm ourselves when it was only +8-10. But anyway, it only gets SO warm here towards the end of May!
It’s not such a great season to go to Anapa on vacation in February: it’s also cold, also frosty. Yes, warmer than here. The temperature was both +5 and +9 when I was visiting relatives. But there were days of -4-6 degrees. It was either wet snow or rain. At night at the beginning and middle of the month there is a stable minus. At the end of spring and beginning of summer, it’s a completely different matter, but winter, even though it’s southern, is still winter, IMHO. I did not like.
June is my favorite month for a seaside holiday in this area. Warmth is already guaranteed and the water is well heated, but you don’t have to swelter from the heat. 24-27 degrees is the ideal daytime temperature for me. And at night it was no longer cold, on average 17 degrees. The water was already more than 20 degrees. It's not cold to climb. On the contrary, it is very refreshing. I would recommend June (beginning) to those who don’t particularly like the heat, like me.
It’s November for them, just like it’s August for us near Moscow! The weather is very similar to ours at the end of August. Sometimes it rains, and then you have to sit in your room, sometimes it’s cloudy, and you can’t sunbathe. During the day +20-23, at night +13-16. I'm talking about the beginning of November. You can’t go with children anymore, but you can still swim yourself. The sea is not very warm, to put it mildly, 17-18 degrees. But that was the case last year, and it can be cooler here at this time.
We went here in May not for the skiing, but for the nature. Well, of course, we saw the temples and rode horses, just as we would have done without it. We also went here to ski from the mountains once, but in February. It’s already too warm in May: +17-22 in the second half of the month. Even the nights were already warm, up to +15-17. But, at the same time, it is damp and humid. Jackets and raincoats should be taken anyway. There is generally wind in the mountains, and I wore a hat so as not to get ear infections.
