A holiday in Sochi in September 2023 was chosen because it is a velvet season. It is considered beneficial for relaxation. The daytime air temperature in the first half of the month was about 29 degrees. But in the second half it got colder to 23 degrees. In the evenings it was no lower than 15. I had to take warm clothes. In the evenings in September it becomes cool in Sochi. Warm jeans and windbreakers won't hurt. I liked the fact that you could still swim during the day. The vacation was in mid-September for 7 days. The best resort is called Rosa Khutor. In mid-autumn, it is better to take excursions to the mountains and attend concerts of Russian pop performers who tour there during this period. There are drawbacks to the weather - cold nights. It is better to relax in June or July.
One of the rather significant advantages of a holiday in Sochi in October is the relatively small number of vacationers. That is why I go here on vacation in October for a couple of weeks. The average daytime temperature here at this time is plus 20 degrees. Rarely there are rises to plus 25 degrees. At night the temperature drops to an average of plus 13 degrees. Sometimes there are quite strong winds and prolonged downpours.
My husband and I have a tradition: every year we go to Sochi for the May holidays. Last year we visited for the sixth time, and still don’t get tired of it. Every time we find something new for ourselves. Sometimes you're lucky with the weather, and sometimes it's cloudy and rainy. At this time, no one swims here, except perhaps avid walruses. The water is 14-15 degrees in total (at the beginning of the month). But the weather itself is quite warm. Sometimes it’s 20-22 degrees in the sun, but more often it’s 17-18. It’s still a little cold at night, but wearing a very light jacket over a T-shirt will keep you warm.
Last year was no exception and I went on vacation in August. I chose Anapa for vacation and overall did not regret it. The average daytime temperature was plus twenty-seven degrees. On rare days it rose to plus thirty-five degrees. At night it was about twenty degrees warm. The water temperature in the sea is plus twenty-three degrees. It was very comfortable to swim. It rained only once.
The 2023 holiday was in August. I decided to hold it in Sochi. I can’t say that it went well, because I don’t think we were particularly lucky with the weather. It was very hot, the average temperature was thirty-five degrees plus. It felt like being in a bathhouse, the sweat just flowed in three streams. It was also very stuffy at night, plus thirty degrees. There were also frequent showers that lasted throughout the day.
If you need a change of scenery and time allows, then I go to Sochi. The last month of winter, in my opinion, is good and suitable for walks by the sea. I come here to recharge. On my last visit (the first week of February) I was generally lucky with the weather. It was sunny during the day, +9 degrees. You can walk along the sea and feed the seals. In the evening there was a slight wind, but there were no sudden changes in temperature and at night it was +7. There were few people, which made me happy. A storm at sea and rain on land only caught me on the day of departure, so I was satisfied with the trip.
I was in Anapa on a business trip. Eh, I wish I could come back here in the summer. It’s already stable there +5-7 degrees during the day. During the week there were 2-3 sunny and clear days, just spring-spring. She walked around in an unbuttoned jacket, without a hat and in light boots. True, it also rained 3 times, but not a downpour, just a little rain at all. Didn't really interfere with walking. I walked a lot along the embankment. I even touched the water. Cold, but not icy. I think that in May I could safely swim.
If you want to understand what real winter is like, I recommend visiting Yakutsk in February. I ended up here on work matters and the business trip lasted almost two weeks. The average temperature during the day remained at thirty degrees with a minus sign. At night the temperature dropped to minus forty degrees. It was cloudy almost all the time, sunny days were a rarity. There were strong snowstorms several times.
I went to celebrate my twentieth birthday with a friend in Anapa (Russia). We arrived on June 19 and left on June 23. And all these 5 days the weather was very cool: dry and warm. During the day the sun was quite hot and we tried to stay in the shade: under an umbrella or in a cafe. And in the evenings we swam in the sea for 2 hours, since the water was well warmed up. Overall, we had a great time! People, come to Anapa in the summer! It's cool here!
I thought that if I went to Anapa in March, I would simply find myself in the midst of real spring. But no matter how it is! For two weeks that I was here the weather was simply disgusting, it’s hard to say otherwise. There was no stability. The average daytime temperature ranged from minus one to plus ten degrees. Added to this was a constantly raging sea and a fairly strong wind. It also rained frequently.
