In early June we flew to Antalya on vacation. To be honest, we expected it to be warmer. But the thermometer showed 24°C. A few days later the temperature rose to 28°C, and then dropped back to its previous values. And yes, it rained periodically. The sea was poorly warmed up (22°C), I didn’t even want to take a dip, and even if you went in, it was cold to come out. Mostly everyone was sunbathing, there were few swimmers. This weather was more suitable for excursions than for a beach holiday.

Last year in August I went on vacation to Turkey with my family. On the advice of friends, we chose the city of Kemer. The weather at this time is hot, you must always wear a hat, and do not stay in the sun for a long time to avoid burns and heatstroke. We usually went swimming in the late afternoon. The water at this time is very warm, comfortable for bathing children. There are many tourists, the beaches are crowded. In general, August is not the best time to vacation in Kemer.

Weather in Alanya in October We, a group of young people, were lucky enough to spend a vacation in Turkey Alanya in October. There is a lot of work in the summer, so we had to rest in the fall. And we didn’t wish for it. The weather is very comfortable for relaxation: during the day +25°С...+30°С, at night +20°С...+22°С. It’s warm, but not so hot that you can’t breathe, and at night it’s nice to sleep with the window wide open. We repeatedly walked around the city and enjoyed the warm rays of the sun in the middle of autumn. There is very little rain, practically none. The water in the sea is warm, you want to plunge again and again. A great time for walks, excursions and a pleasant time.

If you really want to relax (like us), but don’t have a lot of money, then the best option is to go somewhere off-season, when prices are not yet too high. Yes, we didn’t swim in the sea, because... the water was +16-17 degrees, but there were brave souls who swam. We wandered along the beach, sunbathed, and got our feet wet. We swam in the hotel pool, which is heated. But there were almost no cloudy days and it was generally warm: +19-25. At night they threw on light jackets and put on closed shoes when walking. Saved a lot of money and had a great time!

In March the weather here is already quite good, almost like summer. There were days when it was already more than 20 degrees and the sun was hot like summer. But there was also rain, most often a little rain. We even climbed into the sea a couple of times, although it was chilly, the water was +17. It's not yet the swimming season here at this time. Tourists start arriving later. But this also has its advantages: there are no crowds of people anywhere, you can walk peacefully, go to the sights. The hotel pool is generally good.

In January, I visited a prestigious resort, where I spent a couple of weeks of relaxation. Usually the air temperature this month is about fifteen degrees. It often rains, this is typical for these places. I had the opportunity to swim in the heated pool. In addition, I visited a ski resort and took part in hiking. This is a great time for a vacation, despite the not-so-warm weather conditions.

I was on vacation in Kemer in December 2023. This was my first trip to Turkey, and I chose this month because I wanted to relax quietly, without crowds of tourists. And low prices played a role. The weather was quite pleasant, but not ideal for a beach holiday. The average temperature was around 15°C and the water temperature was around 18°C. It was cool in the morning and evening, and warm and sunny during the day. There were a few rainy days, but they didn't dampen my mood. I liked that the weather was not too hot and not too cold, just what I wanted. I was able to visit the mosque and museum, and also explored the surrounding area, seeing mountains, forests and waterfalls. I didn't like that some restaurants and shops were closed during the season. I think this weather is best for those who want to take a break from the hustle and bustle. If you want something more active then you might be better off choosing a different month or resort. I have not vacationed in Kemer at other times, but I heard that in the summer it is very hot and stuffy there, and in the spring and autumn it is warm and comfortable. I think that for me the best month to travel to Kemer is September, when you can still swim in the sea, but there are not so many people anymore. However, my vacation was pretty good. I was able to learn more about Turkey, its history and culture. If I went to this resort again, I would choose September, but I do not rule out that I will return there in December.

It's still summer here in October! I directly recommend it to those who do not like to relax in the very heat of May or October in Turkey. The sea is still +25 and above. But the air temperature is no longer +35, as in July or August, but approximately +24-26. My child swam the entire holiday without getting out of the water. If you don't want to take risks, go at the beginning or middle of the month (like me). Because they say that towards the end of October cold snaps sometimes occur. It depends on your luck.

Good afternoon, I’ll share here my impressions of a trip to the sea in Turkey. We chose the city of Bodrum. This is something incredibly beautiful in terms of nature. Everything was fine with the weather. During the day the temperature is +25 +27. Sea water +21. Excellent entry into the water, crystal clear water. Very comfortable atmosphere, warm, not humid. Lots of different vegetation, cypress trees, olive trees. Very aesthetically pleasing. We chose a budget hotel. But we liked it. We walked there a lot. You need to go there because of the nature. Perfect. There was enough of everything, both fun and tranquility!

The tour operator advised. He said that even at the height of the season there is not such sweltering heat as in many other resorts. I don’t know, there’s nothing to compare it to, but it was hot. The temperature in the sun is over 30 °C. Although, there is a lot of vegetation here: somewhere you could hide in the shade, somewhere you could sit out the peak by the pool. For children, this is simply paradise. The water is like fresh milk: clean, warm, azure. Somewhere +25. Rain, winds - nothing like that. Sometimes I even wanted the rain to pass to freshen up.
