From early childhood I wanted to visit Italy. So I managed to fulfill my dream. After looking at reviews on the Internet, my choice fell on Sardinia. Why? Because my trip was in March. At this time the sun is already shining there. Sardinia is a great place to visit bays, islands, and archipelagos. The temperature at this time can reach up to 25°C, and the water has time to heat up to 15 degrees. Sardinia also enjoys a moderate Mediterranean island climate. There is little rain there, but a lot of sun, which, as a lover of warmth, really captivated me and I never regretted this choice during my 2 weeks in Italy. There you can watch flamingos, try thalassotherapy, and taste a lot of very tasty wine. If you are interested in contemporary art, then you can visit the open-air museum, visit the museum and much more impressive things.
Weather reviews
It so happened that I went on vacation in March. The season has already passed at most popular resorts. I decided to try something exotic and fly to Cape Town. Primarily due to the climate. In Cape Town, in March, it is usually around 27 degrees. It’s a little hot, but after the St. Petersburg cold and rain, that’s exactly what I wanted. At night it’s generally good, about 17 degrees. It rained only a couple of times, and only lightly. The city itself is simply magnificent.
I don't like heat, so I try to visit resorts in the fall. I vacationed in the town of Kusadasi in the first half of September. Throughout the entire period the weather was excellent: not a single rainy day, not a single cloud. During the day the temperature was about 30 degrees Celsius, and at night it dropped to +19. It was comfortable to swim, sunbathe and walk. The sea warmed up perfectly to +24. The humidity here is moderate and is not felt as much as, for example, in Antalya. A week after I left, the weather deteriorated and the autumn rains began.
There are a lot of interesting places for a traveler in Italy. I chose the second half of March to cover the excursion program as much as possible. The weather was excellent, only sometimes the sun was hidden behind the clouds. In terms of degrees, it was also comfortable within +16-19 degrees. And if it’s warm in the sun during the day, then by evening it gets noticeably colder, within +6-9 degrees. It is necessary to take an arsenal of both warm clothes and light ones.
Alicante was the first Spanish city in which I vacationed for a long time. The vacation was spontaneous, so the vacation took place in March, which is not typical for Alicante. Despite this, the weather was excellent. On average about 20 degrees. It was possible to walk around in a T-shirt without any problems; in the evening, I threw on a jacket wide open. It rained only once during the entire vacation. I liked the city, I already want to go again, also in March.
We recently arrived from Turkey (we celebrated the New Year there). Of course, we knew that it wouldn't be particularly hot. During the day the air temperature was +20-22, in the evening 17-19. There is a slight wind, but not significant. The water temperature is 24. During the day we could even sunbathe and swim, but in the evening we had to warm ourselves up. We took thin jackets with us, that was enough for us. In general, you can safely relax. Especially for those who cannot stand the heat.
I have always dreamed of visiting Sicily. Of course, like many others, I watched films about the Italian mafia, and then began to become interested in the history of Sicily. The trip turned out to be spontaneous, in February. On average, the temperature remained at 17 degrees, which is very comfortable for a person who has lived in Russia all his life. There was almost no rain. Strong wind too. I spent days walking the streets of Palermo and going on excursions.
Hi all. In May 2023, my wife and I decided to go to an exotic country on vacation - Tanzania, the resort of Zanzibar. We most likely made a mistake with the month, because... In May they have very heavy rains, some downpours. But we still found time to sunbathe and swim. On the day the temperature outside was approx. 30°C, the water is also very warm - approx. 28-29°C. We also went on an excursion along the coasts and islands, it is very beautiful there. Overall, we liked the trip, but it is better not to go there in April and May, when it is the rainy season.
I went to Bodrum in January. I don’t like the cold, so I decided to spend at least part of the harsh Russian winter where it is more or less warm. The temperature in the city remained at 17 degrees. Sometimes a little more, rarely less than 17 degrees. This is a very comfortable temperature. Neither cold nor hot, just what you need. The city itself is very beautiful, although small. Someday I will fly to Bodrum on vacation again.
I have already been to Rome and Milan. I wanted to visit the third largest Italian city - Naples. We managed to go only in March, which is not quite the season. But I wasn't upset. The weather is still comfortable. On average about 17 degrees. Yes, you don’t look like a T-shirt, but a light jacket is fine. It rained, but only 3-4 times. An underrated city. Again I want to wander through its streets and see the sights.
