I love vacationing in September. Firstly, it’s still warm, but not crazy hot. Secondly, families with children are already at home as the school year has begun. This means the beaches are more or less quiet. Türkiye is beautiful in September! We booked a double room in Antalya for 2 nights in September. The hotel is small but cozy and close to the sea. In fact, we spent 3 days in Antalya and they were very warm. During the day the temperature was + 30 and it was very nice under an umbrella on the beach. And the evenings and nights are no less cool. I walked in a light dress and enjoyed the freshness of the sea.
After watching many films about the beauties of Istanbul, I really wanted to visit this city. And for the March holidays I received a trip as a gift. In the heat, sightseeing is a dubious pleasure, but March, in my opinion, turned out to be the ideal option. It was sunny. The temperature during the day rose to +14. In a thick jacket and covering your throat with a scarf, you could walk for a long time. I finally saw Topkapi Palace, Sultanahmet and Suleymaniye Mosques and Hagia Sophia. In the evening it was cool - +8+10 in temperature, but because of the wind it felt colder. But, in general, the weather is good and much better suited for excursions than summer.
The whole family went to Turkey in May. Just great! We were lucky with the weather, I would say it was the season. Sunny, warm, very comfortable. Sea water is just right. In the evening it becomes cooler and it is so wonderful, on an evening walk or sitting in a restaurant on the street, there is a very pleasant sea breeze. Taking a break from the sun. Our Titanic hotel is good. Food, entertainment for children and adults. We laughed a lot. So it’s a pleasant holiday experience.
Last year I went on holiday to Turkey in the city of Bodrum. I was given leave in May. I rested for 3 weeks, during which time it never rained. It was sunny the whole holiday. The air temperature was high, but not too high. By that time, the Aegean Sea was pleasant for swimming, the water temperature was comfortable. I can safely say that summer begins in Bodrum in May. This is a great time to relax, sunbathe on the beach and the risks of getting sunburned are minimal.
My wife and I decided to take a vacation without children. April is not yet a mega active season in Turkey, which means lower prices and fewer people. Friends recommended a hotel that is for adults only. They moved into it. The weather in mid-April was wonderful, there was a lot of sun, and the temperature rose to 25°C. My wife didn’t dare swim, but I took a dip every day. Although it is not a particularly hot month in Alanya, I was well tanned. This year it would be possible to come there in May.
I was in Antalya in January and couldn’t resist the offer to go to Alanya for a day. The journey takes 2 hours and during this time such landscapes open up. Just on the day of the trip it was a sunny day, although the temperature was no higher than 13°C. This is normal for January in Turkey. Nevertheless, I enjoyed visiting the red tower in Alanya and walking along the seashore. The wind was average, but it ruffled my hair well. However, there were brave souls who, in this weather, took off their sneakers and caught the “warm” waves of the sea.
Antalya is not particularly hospitable in winter. Especially in January. In my latitude there are many days off in January, so this is the ideal time to go to see my mother in Turkey, who has been living there since the beginning of 2022. During the 5 days of my stay, it rained periodically for 2 days. The city was really drowning in water. The maximum temperature was 10°. But when it was partly cloudy, it became warmer and it was even possible to walk along the embankment. I wasn’t going to swim myself, and I didn’t see anyone else wanting to. I don't think January is a good month for a holiday in Antalya.
Turkey is another country that can surprise you with its architecture and natural beauty, and its culture will amaze you doubly. Personally, I was there this year, in January. I only rested for a week, but next year I plan to visit again this year, but this time in the warm season. In January it is quite cold in Kemer. At night the temperature can drop to +6C, and during the day it rises to +23°C. The water temperature is quite high and averages as much as +18°C. You will probably be able to buy. There are so many sunny days that I can’t help but rejoice. But the average daylight hours are 9 hours. It rains often, but there is no snow.
I went on a last minute trip out of season, in mid-April (vacations were not given at other times), I chose what was cheaper. The sea by Turkish resort standards is not warm. The water is 17 degrees, no more. Locals don’t particularly swim at this temperature and there are few tourists. I not only swam, but also managed to scuba dive. Out of 10 days, only 2 were cloudy and there was no rain at all. Air - 18-20 degrees. The nature there is simply amazing: sea, mountains, pine trees. Beauty!
The most pleasant weather conditions in Kas are considered to be from May to October. We chose the end of May for our trip. Several days were rainy, and not to say that it was directly hot, on the whole it was normal. The beginning of the tourist season, depending on the weather. The temperature outside the window was +17-20 degrees during the day. When it was raining about +14. In the evening it’s fresh, it’s nice to take a walk before going to bed, the air is clean, the temperature is around +13 degrees.
