The other day my husband and I returned from Sharm El-Sheikh, it’s a delight! We went to the beach before lunch, because... towards evening the temperature dropped from +22-23 °C to +17-18 °C, the sun was setting and it was already becoming cool to swim. You definitely can’t go here with small children in winter, but it’s really great for an adult. And the mountains provide good protection from the wind. After lunch we usually walked and went on many excursions. It's time for excursions. It’s not hot, you can calmly walk around and look at everything.
I visited Sharm El Sheikh in April and it was an unforgettable trip. The weather was absolutely gorgeous, perfect for a beach holiday and sightseeing. The air temperature during the day reached 27-30 degrees Celsius, which created ideal conditions for sunbathing and swimming. At night the temperature dropped to a pleasant 19-22 degrees, which made it possible to spend time comfortably after sunset. The sea water temperature was around 23-25 degrees, which was ideal for swimming and water sports. Most days in April were sunny, which added brightness and joy to every day of rest. I chose April to travel to Sharm El Sheikh because this time of year offers comfortable conditions for relaxing and exploring this amazing city. I enjoyed visiting the local markets, diving and just relaxing on the beach. Overall, the weather in April in Sharm El Sheikh was beautiful. I would recommend visiting this city at this time of year.
In July we vacationed with a friend in Sharm El-Sheikh. The heat was above 40 degrees, the sea was very warm 28°C, you couldn’t really feel refreshed, but it was comfortable to swim and it wasn’t cold to go ashore. You need to choose a hotel where the rooms have air conditioning, otherwise you will have to endure the heat around the clock, since night temperatures are only 10 degrees lower than daytime ones. Of course, we didn’t go on excursions in such weather, but we were initially focused only on beach holidays and snorkeling.
My family and I went to Egypt in February. Sunrise Beach Hotel. Oh, we really liked it, we had a great rest. It’s cool that they have their own beach, it was convenient and the entrance to the water is good, sandy, smooth. As for the weather, it was very comfortable. +21 +23 on average during the day. It was both sunny and cloudy in places. But everything is great. The sea water was about 20 degrees. We swam. The weather is suitable for excursions, and they are worth it. The impressions cannot be conveyed.
In August, the heat in Sharm El-Sheikh was, of course, terrible. The thermometer turns red and shows an average of +41-43°C. What helps is the air conditioning in the room, or the sea on the beach from which you don’t want to get out, because you dry out in a minute. Sunscreen is a must. At night the air is slightly cooler compared to the day, it feels about +33-35°C. Despite the heat, we had a great time, traveled a lot and saw the local culture.
In January in Hurghada, Egypt, the weather is usually warm and sunny. The average temperature is approximately 22-25°C, making it an ideal destination for those seeking refuge from the cold winter weather. The sea is usually warm, around 22-24°C, which allows you to enjoy beach holidays and swimming. However, be prepared for some cool evenings and nights when temperatures can drop to 15°C. It is important to take into account that at this time of year Hurghada can be windy, which creates a slight feeling of coolness, especially in the evening. However, January is still considered one of the best months to visit Hurghada as it offers relatively mild and comfortable weather for relaxing on the beach and enjoying water sports.
We had a family vacation in Sharm el-Sheikh at the beginning of February. The weather was clear and warm 22 degrees. The wind was insignificant, we deliberately chose a hotel in the bay. We went to the sea after 11 o'clock, when the air warmed up well. We swam with pleasure, the water was warm, almost 23 degrees. When it got dark, we dressed warmly; we could feel the difference between day and night temperatures. We enjoyed our stay and didn’t even want to leave.
There is so little sun in our country, so I try to go to warmer climes in the winter month. I found that Egypt is great for helping me recover. The weather in the first week of February in Sharm El Sheikh was pleasant. Until 10 am I walked along the beach. The sun was bright, but did not burn. And in the afternoon the temperature rose to 25° and it was an excellent time for swimming. True, one day was quite windy and I didn’t dare to swim. In general, a normal holiday for February.
We just arrived from Khurkhada and were on vacation from February 3 to 16. In the first days the temperature was 23°C, then gradually increased to 26°C. The evenings were cool and a windbreaker was needed. The sea is 22°C, we sometimes swam, but due to the strong wind it was cold to go out. We had a heated pool at our hotel, it was very pleasant to swim, and the wind was not so noticeable. The weather is suitable for excursions, there is no heat and you perceive everything better.
Cairo is a city that enjoys excellent hot, sunny and dry weather all year round. The average daily temperature this month is 15°C (59°F). Temperatures can reach 20°C (68°F) or drop to 10°C (50°F). There is very little rainy weather in Cairo and any wet periods clear up quickly. Among the many famous and historical places, I recommend visiting the Khan el-Khalili market. Everything is collected here: from local spices to jewelry. The market is visited by both tourists and locals. The Cairo Tower is an important and more modern landmark of Cairo. Climb to the top and admire the city's sights before visiting the restaurant located there.
