In August, the heat in Sharm El-Sheikh was, of course, terrible. The thermometer turns red and shows an average of +41-43°C. What helps is the air conditioning in the room, or the sea on the beach from which you don’t want to get out, because you dry out in a minute. Sunscreen is a must. At night the air is slightly cooler compared to the day, it feels about +33-35°C. Despite the heat, we had a great time, traveled a lot and saw the local culture.
Weather reviews
The whole family went to Turkey in May. Just great! We were lucky with the weather, I would say it was the season. Sunny, warm, very comfortable. Sea water is just right. In the evening it becomes cooler and it is so wonderful, on an evening walk or sitting in a restaurant on the street, there is a very pleasant sea breeze. Taking a break from the sun. Our Titanic hotel is good. Food, entertainment for children and adults. We laughed a lot. So it’s a pleasant holiday experience.
Last year I went on holiday to Turkey in the city of Bodrum. I was given leave in May. I rested for 3 weeks, during which time it never rained. It was sunny the whole holiday. The air temperature was high, but not too high. By that time, the Aegean Sea was pleasant for swimming, the water temperature was comfortable. I can safely say that summer begins in Bodrum in May. This is a great time to relax, sunbathe on the beach and the risks of getting sunburned are minimal.
The month of February in Goa turned out to be simply excellent for a beach holiday. The days were sunny and hot, 30°C - 34°C, with a slight breeze blowing. We cooled off in the warm ocean, the water was 28°C, sometimes light waves rolled in, it was very pleasant to swim. I liked Benaulim beach - spacious with a large coastline, beautiful palm trees and not crowded. Beautiful weather, clear skies and blue ocean will remain in my memories until my next trip.
My wife and I decided to take a vacation without children. April is not yet a mega active season in Turkey, which means lower prices and fewer people. Friends recommended a hotel that is for adults only. They moved into it. The weather in mid-April was wonderful, there was a lot of sun, and the temperature rose to 25°C. My wife didn’t dare swim, but I took a dip every day. Although it is not a particularly hot month in Alanya, I was well tanned. This year it would be possible to come there in May.
I spent my last June vacation in Sochi, my favorite city on the Black Sea coast. There were already quite a lot of vacationers during this period; some were actively swimming, although the water was still cool. No more than twenty degrees plus, of course. The air temperature was almost stable - plus 25-30 degrees. It was mostly sunny, cloudy days were rare. It rained only once during the entire period.
When going on vacation in Sochi in June, I was sure that the weather would not let me down, and my expectations were completely met! At the beginning of the month, the air temperature warms up to 20-22 degrees, which is ideal for long walks around the city and exploring its sights. Throughout June, temperatures continue to rise, reaching 25 degrees by the end of the month. This allows you to enjoy sunny days, swim in the Black Sea and spend time on the open terraces of cafes and restaurants. The humidity in Sochi in June is quite low, which makes the air fresh and pleasant. Rains this month are rare and pass quickly, leaving behind freshness and cleanliness. One of the main advantages of the weather in Sochi in June is the absence of sweltering heat. This is especially important for those who do not like heat and prefer a more comfortable temperature for relaxation. In general, the weather in Sochi in June is ideal for active and passive recreation. You can walk around the city, enjoy the sun and sea, and also attend excursions and various events that the resort offers.
In November, which is usually associated with cold and grey, I had a chance to visit the resort of Sochi. Two weeks here flew by like one day. The average daytime temperature in Sochi remained at 15 degrees plus. Sometimes there were increases up to plus 20 degrees. At night the temperature dropped to an average of plus 8 degrees. There were only a few showers and there were no strong winds. Some people even dared to swim in the sea.
Spain is always associated with tangerines, but March, unfortunately, is considered the end of the season. However, Gran Canaria is also beautiful in March. My daughter and I were convinced of this personally. We settled in a small hotel with a view of the cathedral (I wanted one with a sea view, but it was fine). The weather was great. In the last week of March, every day was sunny, calm and warm, so we walked in T-shirts and replenished our vitamin D deficiency.
I’ve been to Bali 3 times, always in different months, but I liked it most in June. This is just the middle of the tourist season, the weather was amazing! It’s hot (it was always under 30 plus), but the heat is easily tolerated. There is no excess humidity here. It rained once in 2 weeks, and only a little. The water in the sea is just as warm. Sometimes, however, large waves interfered with swimming. I’m even thinking about learning surfing in connection with this. A lot of fans gather here. It's interesting and a little enviable to watch them.
