At the beginning of February, my friend and I flew to Barcelona. I took demi-season clothes and an umbrella in addition, it came in handy a couple of times. Upon arrival, the weather was sunny, the temperature was about 14 degrees, quite comfortable for walking around the city, you could feel a fresh breeze. Then it got a little colder to 10 degrees, it was cloudy and rainy, but not for long. In the last days of the trip, the sunny weather returned again. We had many interesting outdoor excursions and successful shopping.

I especially like Greece in spring for its freshness. I rested at the beginning of March 2023, the weather was pleasant with rays of sunshine almost every day. The air temperature was as comfortable as possible from +17 to +21, walking along the streets and going on excursions was a pleasure. It was quite fresh at night, +11, +14, sometimes I covered myself with a warm blanket. Of the interesting things, I liked the Crete Aquarium and Elafonisi Beach the most, it was a delight.

My husband and I went to Malaga in the second half of June. The weather was warm and sunny, with an average temperature of about 25°. A couple of days were cloudy and there was some rain. Before leaving, the temperature rose to 28°. The water in the sea was cool, I like it warmer, and my husband swam constantly. He said that at first it’s great invigorating and then you don’t want to go out. In general, we had a great time, the tan lay evenly and beautifully, the climate was simply wonderful.

We vacationed with my family in October in Istanbul. According to the weather, it is believed that this is the beginning of autumn. The air temperature at this time drops significantly, the average amount of precipitation increases. While Istanbul in general is still relatively warm and pleasant, it is much colder and wetter than the summer months and is no longer beach weather. The average temperature in Istanbul in October is 16°C, the maximum is only 19°C. The highest temperature may be 35°C, so perhaps you can still sunbathe a little, but overall this is not the best time for a beach holiday in Istanbul. When the temperature drops, the sea also cools down. The average sea temperature in October is 18 degrees. The days are also shortened, with an average of only 7 hours of sunshine each day.

I visited Samarkand in February, deciding to enjoy the atmosphere of this historical city during the winter months. The choice of February was driven by the desire to escape the summer heat and experience milder weather. In addition, tourist traffic is usually lower at this time of year, allowing you to avoid the crowds and enjoy the sights in a more relaxed environment. The weather in February in Samarkand was cool but comfortable. It was noticeably cool in the morning, during the day the temperature rose to a pleasant 15-20 degrees, and in the evening it became cooler. However, there was no rain and the sun was shining brightly, which added to the charm of the ancient architectural monuments. I liked the freshness of the air in the morning and the opportunity to explore the sights without thermal discomfort. However, it was cool in the evenings and we had to wear warm clothes. This somewhat reduced the comfort when walking in the evening. February is great for traveling to historical places and enjoying cultural heritage. Pleasant temperatures during the day allow you to freely visit monuments, and evenings can be spent in cozy cafes, enjoying local cuisine. Comparing February with other seasons, I believe that each month has its own characteristics. However, for those who prefer cooler temperatures and avoid the tourist crowds, February proves to be an excellent choice. My overall impression of traveling to Samarkand in February is positive. Despite the slight weather issues in the evening, I would love to return to this magical city in the same month to once again immerse myself in its unique atmosphere without the extra tourist crowds.

Coming from rainy and cool Minsk, I would never have thought that I would plunge into real summer. I was simply amazed that at that time in Valencia the thermometer rose to +30 degrees. There are a lot of tourists in the city, people wear shorts and T-shirts, there is laughter, joy and smiles everywhere. It felt like I was on another planet)) Well, that’s not all, the water temperature in the Mediterranean Sea was consistently above 20 degrees, which I was incredibly happy about. An indelible impression was made by a boat trip with dinner at sunset, which gave me simply incredible emotions, like the whole vacation in general.

Belgrade made a mixed impression on me. On the one hand, it is clear that the city is developing, trying to be modern, but on the other hand, it is still firmly rooted in the socialist past. I was in the Serbian capital at the beginning of April and I was definitely unlucky with the weather, because... it was damp, rainy and windy. The temperature was above zero, but it felt like only a few degrees. I wanted to see a lot of different sights, visit beautiful places in the vicinity of the city, but in the end I didn’t even see half of what I had planned. In general, I can say that it did not evoke any amazing emotions and I have no desire to return there.

If anyone seriously believes that the weather has no bad weather, then Welcome to Fujairah at the end of April. As often happens, we were tempted by a last-minute ticket, the cost of which was almost two times lower than in December. As a result, we got up to +40 during the day, strong winds and stuffy nights. There was no question of a normal holiday in such conditions, and swimming in the overly warm Gulf of Oman did not bring any pleasure. Almost all the time we were irritated, dissatisfied and simply regretted that we had chosen this time for the trip. We felt comfortable only in local malls, but they were not the purpose of our trip.

I really wanted to visit Issyk-Kul in the summer, but due to work issues I was able to go only in early September and was most worried about the weather. Most of my fears turned out to be unfounded, but certain nuances were still present. I went for 10 days from September 5 to 15, and if in the first days of my vacation there was still truly summer weather, then after the 10th it got a little colder and swimming in the lake became less comfortable. In addition, there was wind and there was light rain for two days. In relatively bad weather, I stayed at the hotel and underwent various procedures, which are of high quality and reasonable prices. Still, I recommend everyone to plan a trip from early July to mid-August.

I had a chance to visit many cities of the former Soviet Union and I can say with confidence that Baku is one of the most colorful of them. Mid-spring is a great time to stroll along its old streets, drink delicious tea or coffee, experience all the hospitality of the local population (albeit a little intrusive) and simply soak up the incredible atmosphere of this wonderful place. But I want to warn you right away that it can be cool, especially in the evening, so instead of T-shirts, skirts and dresses, it is better to take something warmer. And don’t forget an umbrella, otherwise short-term sudden rains can ruin your mood a little.
